For Over 120 Years
Picchiani and Barlacchi was founded in 1902. Despite a century having passed, our creations still have the power to commemorate special national and international events.
The company is now in its fifth generation, led by Matteo Parri, supported by his mother Chiara and aunt Giovanna.
We are leaders in Italy in metalworking, creating long-lasting Made in Italy products following the Florentine tradition.
In our historical archive, we preserve over 400,000 molds that trace the highlights from the early 1900s onwards.
PRODUCTION PHASES
DESIGN
We study the product design, which will be delivered to you in the form of a free sketch, created in an original and copyright-protected manner.
MODEL
The sculptor creates the plaster model, handcrafting all relief details with the utmost precision to ensure an excellent result.
BRONZE CASTING
The molten bronze is poured into the mold created from plaster, and the "artistic model" is then refined and worked on by our engravers.
CASTING
Now it's possible to proceed with casting the product in the metal requested by the customer. At the end of production, the model is preserved in our archive to ensure its longevity.
GALVANIC FINISH
The product is galvanically finished, and through patination, the contrasts are enhanced. A protective coating is applied to prevent alterations over time, making the object timeless.
ENAMELING
Upon the customer's request, we can personalize the product with enamels.
ASSEMBLY
As support, you can choose from various bases made of precious wood, plexiglass, or velvet, to which the metal plate will be fixed.
QUALITY CONTROL
Once the production process is complete, each piece is individually inspected and selected. Every product can be packaged in a customizable case.

The trophy manufacturing process, from project conception to finishing, requires adherence to precise timelines because it is a true work of art that demands the skill and meticulous attention of every person involved.
Each new edition, once the design is approved, entails approximately 30 days of actual work to provide you with an excellent product that best reflects your company’s value.
